Annapurna Trekking

One of the most popular destinations in Nepal for trekkers and adventure lovers. It is a section of the Himalayas in the north central part of Nepal. This section is a 55 km-long massif bounded by the Kali Gandaki Gorge on the west, the Marshyangdi River on the north and east, and Pokhara, a valley of lakes, on the south. Some distinguished places, famous mountains, lakes, protected area, diverse landscape, flora and fauna make this place a very suitable, enjoyable and reachable. This region is protected by  Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP)  under King Mahendra Trust for Nature Conservation which is the first and the largest conservation area in Nepal. The region includes Annapurna I with altitude 8,091 m (26,545 ft) and  thirteen additional peaks over 7,000 m. There are 16 other peaks over 6,000 m lying in this region. 

Trekkers, while pursuing a journey through this region, will experience a great pleasure by the presence of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Range, Kali Gandaki Gorge that is the deepest gorge in the world (1020 m deep), Thorangla Pass which is the highest as well as longest pass in the world, Tilicho Lake which is the highest altitude lake in the world and several Hindu Temples and Buddhist Monasteries. Annapurna has been visited by two-thirds of trekkers who come Nepal due to the accessibility and well facilitated nature of the route. Dense presence of guest houses and proper conservation by the ACAP has made this region suitable for their adventure holiday in Nepal with their friends and family. Not only that, this area is suitable for short as well as long treks.
