This is a joyful event through which you can grasp the scenic beauty of mountains, green hills, lakes and the entire Pokhara city. We provide a qualified and highly experienced paraglider pilot to fly you and take the photos and videos of your flight.
Our paragliders take off from Sharankot hill (1592 meters) soaring and sharing spaces with vultures, kites, eagles and other paragliders. Three peaks over 8000 meters can be seen around during the flight, in the meantime, offering the views of villages, jungles and landscape below. ITINERARY FOR PARAGLIDING IN NEPAL
Day 01 - Kathmandu to Pokhara:
We drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu in a private vehicle. We will be driving on a highway that takes us 200 kilometers to the West through jungles, residential area, local markets and bank of Trisuli river. Your accommodation and overnight stay will be arranged at one of the finest hotels in Pokhara lakeside area.
Day 02 - An Easy Trekking:
You may have a relaxed schedule this day. Later after the breakfast, we will have an easy trekking up to Sarangkot hill station. Sarangkot is famous for the panoramic view mountains especially during sunrise and sunset and as the spot for paragliding takeoff. Your overnight stay will be arranged at a hotel in Sarangkot.
Day 03 - Fly like a Bird:
This is the day for the paragliding. You will be taken to the takeoff spot for paragliding. The pilot will brief you about the dos and don’ts and basic things to take care of. Then will your flight begin taking you higher with other paragliders. If the weather favours, you will get to see mesmerizing views of the mountains, the landscape around and the Fewa lake below. You can capture the pictures through the special camera that we provide. Flying above the green lake capturing the scenic beauty of Pokhara will be a great fun. Your landing point will be at a spot at the bank of the lake after around 30 minutes. You will be taken to a fine hotel for your overnight accommodation.
Day 04 - City Tour:
Pokhara has many famous places to be at and you would certainly wish to visit some of the major places. We allocate this whole day for the tour during which you will be visiting major places in Pokhara valley. Your day will start with boating at Fewa lake and hiking up to the World Peace Stupa. Later in the day, you will be taken to Davis fall, Shiva cave, International Mountaineering Museum, Seti Gorge. After all the sightseeing in Pokhara valley, you will be taken back to the hotel.
Day 05 - Back to the capital city:
You will be bidding goodbye to Pokhara this day thanking it for the great paragliding experience. A tourist bus, a private van or an air ticket will be arranged for your return to Kathmandu. Upon your arrival to Kathmandu, you may wish to visit nearby places, restaurants and market places and observe the city once more.
Day 06 - See you again:
With all these days of togetherness and memories preserved, we will take you to the airport for your return. Nepal Gateway team will always cherish the moments you would have spent with us.
